To strengthen our sales team we are looking for a Field Sales Representative (m/f/d) for the sales of pumps in the region of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).
Habermann Aurum Pumpen GmbH is a German manufacturer as well as supplier of industrial pumps, valves and technical solutions. Our company has almost 100 years of experience and deep know-how in solids handling and is one of the leading manufacturers of centrifugal pumps for handling solids-laden liquids. Our pumps are used in the mining and minerals industry, raw material extraction and energy industry, steel industry, chemical industry, pigment industry, tunnel construction and special civil engineering. With our headquarters and production site in Bochum, Germany, together with certified distributors and authorized service partners worldwide, we form the strong network of the Habermann Aurum Group.
Within the Habermann Aurum Group, Aurum Engineering GmbH is responsible for the distribution of our products and services. For optimal support of our customers, we increasingly rely on customer proximity through regional sales representatives.
Requirment
- Engineer/technician (m/f/d) in mechanical engineering (or equivalent qualification).
- At least three years of proven, successful field sales experience in a company in the pump industry or related fields
- Good knowledge of the described markets and industries in Germany
- Good knowledge of pump technologies
- Distinct result orientation, commitment, strength of action, assertiveness
- Strong communication personality with pleasure in dealing with people
- Serious appearance and ability to work in a team
- Business fluent in German; English desirable
- A certain degree of flexibility and mobility

Tasks
- Acquisition of new customers and retention of our existing customers in the sales area through regular personal contact
- First point of contact for our customers in the development of solutions for the use of our pumps
- Leading the quotation process until the deal is closed
- Continuous achievement of agreed sales targets
- Actively preparing market, customer and competitor analyses and using the findings to expand our own market position
- Observation of industry trends and recommendations for innovative product developments
- Participation in regular sales meetings at the head office in Bochum
- Travel activity approx. 75
